EDRM Identification Standards - Available for Review and Comment

http://ow.ly/762du

This is a post from the Electronic Discovery Reference Model organization which seeks comments regarding the recently published EDRM Identification Standards document.

As the EDRM post states, "The document is intended to outline standards for the identification of electronically stored information in discovery. The intent is for these standards to provide counsel with a guide for identification. This guide is not all inclusive but is designed to provide a baseline for the investigation."

The detailed document provides an outline for issues related to early case assessment, early data assessment, custodial interviews, and records management interviews.  This document is a valuable resource to those involved in the eDiscovery phase of litigation.  The EDRM is seeking public comment at the link provided above regarding any comments, or suggested revisions to the EDRM Identification Standards.
