http://ow.ly/5UszTAn article by Katey Wood posted on Enterprise Strategy Group's Blog - Information Asymmetry.
This interesting article discusses alternative fee arrangements, and reverse auctions for law firms, as they bid to obtain projects involving large document reviews.
The article touches on the McDermmot legal malparctice case that has been in the news recently, and provides some warning that the best price is not always the best solution for the project. The article also touches on the need to incorporate technology during the attorney review phase, in order to help control costs. It also says that many firms continue to just throw large numbers of attorneys into the review. The author seems to suggest that perhaps throwing large numbers of contract review attorneys into the mix is not the best method to truly control costs.
