Business Fail to Encrypt Data in the Cloud

Article on CloudPro website, written by Jennifer Scott

This article higlights a survey taken by Venafi EKCM (Enterprise Key and Certificate Management) specialist.  The survey findings indicate an interesting and disconcerting trend, 64% of corporations that are using the Cloud are NOT encrypting their data.  This can be a very risky practice, as there are plenty of examples of hacking in the news of late.  Also, among other alarming statistics, 40% of the respondents didn't know if their data was encrypted, and 82% said they don't annually renew their SSH keys.

Trouble ahead?  Perhaps there will be some dark clouds on the horizon (bad pun intendend).
